Cash $$$$$
DeeAnn and Edd were kind enough to leave us their extra toilet paper. Toilet paper is not a commonly used item with local people. We carry toilet paper with us wherever we go. But... to our surprise, their toilet paper roll had a bonus! A wad of cash. $US Dollars. Thanks sister. That will come in handy as well. Also, you might want to remember where you hide your cash. :)
This was an extra blog for today. Read on for the rest of today's exciting adventures in Senegal.

good thing I didn't take that roll into the gas station restroom in Mali! Now that I know where Edd's secret hiding places are, I will be checking every time I visit

OK, so now I'm REALLY seeing some major cultural differences......
You see, this time of year in America, OUR small trinkets of value actually get stuffed into oversized red STOCKINGS.

Dad I am sorry I missed your call I was hoping to get a chance to talk to you. I hope you all are well. It was great talking to you Jodes I really miss you. Come home soon please. Love you all. PS. we did survive the storm. Miltons had a tree fall about 5ft from their house. Thankfully God was watching over us. See you all soon.
